WRS Health Hires Laz Cabanas as Senior Vice President of Marketing

Laz brings over 25 years of marketing
and sales experience to WRS Health team

GOSHEN, N.Y. (April 16, 2014) – WRS Health, a leading web-based provider of fully integrated EMR and practice management solutions for medical specialties, announced today the appointment of Laz Cabanas as Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Laz is a seasoned sales and marketing executive with over 25 years of leadership experience. He has held senior management roles in both advertising agencies as well as leading online publishing firms. Throughout his career, Laz has developed and pioneered award-winning, result-generating programs for a diverse domestic, and multinational client portfolio.

Laz was part of the executive management team that led eMedicine from startup to successful acquisition by WebMD. During his tenure at eMedicine, Laz developed innovative Direct to Consumer, Direct to Physician and medical education programs for organizations including Astra Zeneca, Sanofi-Aventis, Novo Nordisk, Ortho-McNeil and Novartis. Laz received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
